About Homtly
Homtly exists to answer one question properly: how good is this home, actually?
Buying a home in India usually means trusting claims you cannot check. Listings describe every property as prime, verified and a great investment. Nothing tells you whether the documentation is complete, whether the asking price is reasonable, or what is wrong with the place. Homtly is built to close that gap.
What Homtly does
You answer a short guided assessment about a home. Homtly returns a HomeScore out of 100, built from ten weighted categories, along with:
- a breakdown showing exactly which categories earned or lost points;
- a separate Confidence figure stating how well-evidenced the score is;
- an estimated fair price range next to the asking price;
- the home's honest concerns, not only its strengths;
- an upgrade roadmap distinguishing what would raise the score from what would only raise confidence;
- a shareable home profile.
Two numbers, never merged
Most property scores collapse quality and certainty into one figure, which hides how much is actually known. Homtly keeps them apart. The HomeScore says how good the home appears. Confidence says how strongly that can be substantiated right now. A score of 88 at 51% confidence is reported as exactly that, rather than being presented as settled fact.
The principles it is built on
- We don't hide problems. Weaknesses and risks appear in the report even when they are inconvenient.
- AI is not verification. Visual assessment is informational and is never presented as a legal, structural or safety certificate.
- Every claim needs evidence. Facts carry their source and method, and user-provided, inferred and professionally verified information are never blended together.
- Confidence matters as much as the score.
- A good home should be able to prove it is good.
- Properties are ranked, never people.
Where Homtly operates
Homtly is starting in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, deliberately: a focused, well-understood market produces better property intelligence than thin national coverage.
Who is behind it
Homtly was founded by Krishna Goyal, and is built and operated from Agra, India.
What Homtly is not
It is not a certified valuer, a law firm, or a structural engineer, and it does not guarantee title, structural safety, legal ownership, investment returns or future appreciation. Price figures are estimates that help you judge reasonableness; formal verification requires a qualified professional.
